Darla's New Goal
Over the past five years, Darla Deschamps-Montgomery has competed on the America's Cup, Europa Cup, Intercontinental Cup and World Cup tours, with stellar results. She captured two Gold medals and two Bronze during the 2010-2011 Inter-Continental Cup season, before being called up to the World Cup for the second half of the campaign. At her season closing race in Cesana, Italy Darla took Bronze, becoming only the seventh woman in Canadian history to earn a World Cup medal in Skeleton racing. Now, Darla has set her sights on a new goal—standing atop the podium in Sochi, Russia at the 2014 Winter Olympic Games.
